Appeals and Complaints Policy

InnovatioSports Journal adopts the guidelines of COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) to ensure that all appeals and complaints related to the publication process are handled fairly, transparently, and in a timely manner. This policy provides a clear framework for submission and evaluation to all stakeholders of the journal.

PURPOSE AND SCOPE

This policy covers appeals and complaints related to the following issues:

  • Editorial decisions (acceptance, rejection, revisions)

  • Peer review process and reviewer conduct

  • Editorial actions and procedural issues

  • Post-publication errors, omissions, or ethical concerns

APPEALS PROCESS

Authors may appeal decisions related to the editorial or peer review process of their submitted manuscript.

  • Appeals must be submitted in writing to info@isjournal.org within 15 days of the decision notification date.

  • The appeal should clearly explain why the decision is considered unfair or flawed, supported by academic evidence or argumentation.

  • The appeal will be reassessed by the Editor-in-Chief and, if necessary, reviewed by another editor or independent reviewer to ensure objectivity.

  • Authors will receive a written response within 30 days of the appeal submission.

COMPLAINTS PROCESS

Reviewers, authors, or readers may file complaints regarding unethical behavior, biased evaluations, or significant delays in the editorial process.

  • Complaints must be submitted in writing to info@isjournal.org along with relevant documentation.

  • All complaints will be reviewed and responded to within 30 days.

  • If necessary, independent expert opinion will be sought, and the process may be reevaluated in accordance with COPE guidelines.

CONFIDENTIALITY, IMPARTIALITY AND ETHICAL REVIEW

  • All submissions are processed in accordance with the principle of confidentiality.

  • Appeals and complaints are reviewed by editors free of conflicts of interest.

  • Ethical proceedings are conducted rigorously, following COPE’s “Guidelines for Appeals and Complaints.”

  • The journal adheres to principles of transparency and accountability in its decisions.
