Article Submission

Authors considering submitting a manuscript to InnovatioSports Journal are expected to follow the guidelines outlined below. Compliance with the ethical standards, formatting instructions, and evaluation stages is mandatory throughout the submission process.

1. COPYRIGHT AND OPEN ACCESS

  • The author(s) must hold all copyright to the work or have obtained the necessary permissions.

  • Submitted articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0) license. This license permits reuse and sharing with proper attribution.

2. SUBMISSION LIMITATIONS

  • Each author may submit a maximum of two (2) articles within a 12-month period, including co-authored submissions.

3. LANGUAGE AND ALPHABET

  • Articles in Turkish are accepted for initial issues.

  • In the long term, only articles written in English and using the Latin alphabet will be considered for evaluation.

4. ACCEPTED ARTICLE TYPES

  • Original Research Article: Up to 5,000 words. No more than 6 tables and/or 10 figures.

  • Review Article: Up to 6,000 words. No more than 6 tables and/or 15 figures.

  • Case Study: Should include abstract, introduction, case report, and discussion sections.

  • Letter to the Editor: Maximum 900 words, 1 figure, 10 references.

  • Short Communication: Maximum 1,500 words. Fast-track review and prioritized publication process apply.

6. SUBMISSION STEPS

  1. Registration and Login: Authors must register and log in to the system.

  2. Start New Submission: Click on the "New Submission" tab to begin.

  3. Enter Article Information: Fill in the title, abstract, keywords, and author details.

  4. Upload Files: Upload the full text and any supplementary files (tables, figures, appendices).

  5. Review and Confirm: Verify all details before finalizing the submission.

7. REVIEW PROCESS

  • Pre-evaluation: Conducted by the editorial team.

  • Double-Blind Peer Review: Reviewed by at least two independent referees.

  • Revision: Authors may be asked to revise. The revision period is 15 days maximum.

  • Acceptance and Publication: Accepted articles are assigned a DOI and published online.

  • Author Guidelines: For formatting and style instructions.

  • Ethical Guidelines: Details on publishing ethics and conflict of interest declarations.

  • Reporting Standards: Compliance with international standards according to research type (e.g., CONSORT, STROBE, PRISMA).
