Author Contribution Statement Policy

InnovatioSports Journal upholds the principles of transparency and accurate representation of author contributions in academic publishing. In this regard, all authors are required to clearly declare their specific contributions to each submitted manuscript. This policy aligns with the Contributor Roles Taxonomy (CRediT) to ensure the clarification and standardization of author roles.

PURPOSE AND SCOPE

This policy aims to ensure that all authors accurately disclose their contributions to a manuscript and that such contributions are properly recognized throughout the publication process. The implementation of this policy promotes ethical publishing practices and clarifies responsibility sharing among authors.

AUTHOR CONTRIBUTION ROLES (CRediT TAXONOMY)

Authors must indicate their respective roles based on the following taxonomy:

  2. Data Curation

  3. Formal Analysis

  4. Funding Acquisition

  5. Investigation

  6. Methodology

  7. Project Administration

  8. Resources

  9. Software

  10. Supervision

  11. Validation

  12. Visualization

  13. Writing – Original Draft

  14. Writing – Review & Editing

DECLARATION PROCEDURE

  • Authors must fill out the "Author Contribution Statement" section at the time of submission, indicating which roles each author fulfilled from the list above.

  • All authors must approve the submitted contribution statement.

  • The journal reserves the right to request additional information to verify contributions when necessary.

ETHICAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • All contribution statements must reflect the truth and must not include misleading information.

  • Authors must act in accordance with the principles of academic integrity and transparency.

  • Fair and accurate recognition of all contributions is mandatory.
