Publishing Schedule

PUBLICATION FREQUENCY InnovatioSports Journal is a peer-reviewed academic journal published twice a year, in March and October. Each issue features cutting-edge and innovative research in the fields of sports sciences and the sports industry.

SPECIAL ISSUES The journal also publishes special issues focused on specific themes or topics. These issues may include current research articles, conference proceedings, or papers based on academic events. Announcements and calls for papers for special issues are shared on the journal's official website and social media channels.

ARTICLE EVALUATION PROCESS

1. Submission Manuscripts are accepted exclusively through the journal’s online submission system.

2. Preliminary Review All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial review by the editorial team to ensure compliance with the journal's scope and author guidelines.

3. Peer Review Manuscripts that pass the preliminary review are sent to at least two expert reviewers in the field. The review process is conducted under the double-blind peer review principle.

4. Review Period The standard review period ranges from 4 to 6 weeks. Authors can track the status of their submissions through the online system.

5. Editorial Decision Based on reviewer feedback, the editors make a decision to accept, request revision, or reject the manuscript. Accepted manuscripts are scheduled for the next available issue.

PUBLICATION CALENDAR

  • Regular Issues: Published annually in March and October.

  • Special Issues: Publication dates are announced along with the corresponding calls for papers.

DECISION AND PUBLICATION TIMELINE

  • Initial Editorial Review: Maximum 10 days

  • Peer Review Duration: Maximum 100 days

  • Total Time to Acceptance: Maximum 107 days

Accepted papers are published in the next suitable issue following the completion of the review process.
