Reviewer Honorarium Policy
Reviewer Honorarium Policy
InnovatioSports Journal may provide an honorarium to reviewers in order to strengthen the quality of the peer review process, encourage contributions from qualified academics, and support timely, careful, and constructive review reports.
Within this scope, reviewers assigned to evaluate submissions to our journal may receive a reviewer honorarium of 750 TL for each eligible review report, provided that the review process is completed in accordance with the journal’s principles and editorial standards.
The principles regarding the reviewer honorarium are as follows:
-
The reviewer honorarium is paid only for review reports deemed appropriate by the editorial team and considered scientifically adequate, reasoned, constructive, and compliant with ethical principles.
-
Payment is not dependent on the reviewer’s recommendation regarding the manuscript. In other words, no distinction is made between acceptance, revision, or rejection recommendations.
-
The reviewer honorarium applies only to review reports submitted within the specified review period.
-
No payment will be made for reports considered insufficient, superficial, unjustified, lacking academic evaluation quality, or inconsistent with ethical standards.
-
Before accepting the review assignment, reviewers are required to disclose any potential conflict of interest to the editorial office. If a conflict of interest is identified, no payment will be made and the review may be deemed invalid.
-
The reviewer honorarium is not intended to influence editorial decisions. All editorial processes are conducted in accordance with the principles of independence, impartiality, and academic ethics.
-
The payment process is carried out within the journal’s administrative procedures after the review report has been completed and approved by the editorial office.
-
The journal reserves the right to revise this policy when deemed necessary.
We thank all academics who contribute to the peer review process and value their support in strengthening the quality of scholarly publishing.
